CenBRAIN's Contribution in ‘The First China Postdoctoral Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition’

On 18-20 December 2021, The First China Postdoctoral Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Foshan, Guanzhou. CenBRAIN's Research Assistant ProfessorDr. Sumin Bian, member of the team led by aDr. Renhong Yan, a postdoc of Prof. Yigong SHI’s lab of Westlake University, in collaboration withProf. Qiang Zhou, andProf. Jing HuangLabs. Their team won the National Silver Award. The team proposed a project on‘Intelligent Research and Development on Target Drugs for Major Diseases’ (in Chinese: 重大疾病靶向药物的“智”备研发). This project holds a core technology in the analysis of the complex protein structure and aims to develop an integrated drug development process, including intelligent preparation of drug target proteins, automated drug target structure analysis, AI-assisted high-efficiency drug design and cross-validation of pilot drugs functions.
