Title:Black Hole Information Paradox and Double Holography
Abstract:
Over the past decade, concepts and techniques from quantum information theory have provided valuable insights into quantum field theory, condensed matter physics, and quantum gravity. Recent advances have allowed a better understanding of the black hole information paradox. A formula known as the "island formula" was discovered to calculate the fine-grained entropy of Hawking radiation. In this talk, I will give a brief overview of recent progress on the information paradox over the last few years. In particular, I will focus on models based on so-called double holography. We also use double holography to study a system of two entangled gravitating universes. With the thermalization of the bath region, the holographic universe presents the process of gravitational collapse and eventually forms a black hole.
