主讲人/Speaker:
Hechang Lei is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Physics of Renmin University of China. He was obtained the National Outstanding Youth Fund at 2018. In 2009, he graduated from the Institute of Solid State Physics, Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences with a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics. From 2009 to 2012 and from 2012 to 2014, he was engaged in postdoctoral research at Cedomir Petrovic Research Group at Brookhaven National Laboratory in the United States and Hideo Hosono Research Group at Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan, respectively. At the end of 2014, he returned to China and worked in the Department of Physics of Renmin University of China. His main research interests include the exploration of topological quantum materials, new superconducting materials and low-dimensional magnetic materials, crystal growth and studing on physical properties of these materials. He has published more than 290 scientific papers, including a number of papers published in Nature, Nat. Phys., Nat. Commun., Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. X etc, which have been cited more than 11,000 times so far.
讲座摘要/Abstract:
Kagome lattice has attracted a lot of attention because of its non-trivial topological electronic structure, such as Dirac nodes, flat bands and saddle points, as well as its frustration magnetism. In this talk, I will briefly introduce the results of our research on the topological electronic structure of several Kagome materials, such as Fe3Sn2, Co3Sn2S2, YMn6Sn6, and AV3Sb5 (A = Rb and Cs), as well as the novel topological states of matter caused by the coupling of band topology with spin and orbit degrees of freedom. These studies show that the Kagome materials have become an important platform for studying the correlation topological effects, and there are more novel topological states to be explored and discovered.
